ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
G.O.D.S Place is a faith based non-profit organization established in February of 2007. Our goal is to have a community economic development center as well as a shelter. This will help us provide shelter as well as create a community of transformed homeless and people with low income into economically, socially, spiritually and educationally equipped citizens for society. Our program is based off Christian values and beliefs. We believe that God has a prosperous plan for everyone (Jeremiah 29:11) and that he has the ability to reverse any and all unfortunate situation and circumstances.
In our infancy state God has made it possible for us to house the homeless in our homes, rent hotels when we could, provide food, transportation and have three successful Christmas dinners on Christmas Day. We believe that everyone should be shown love especially on Christmas Day. We have serviced hundreds of individuals and families. Each year we are growing and getting closer to our vision with the help of numerous volunteers, churches and other like ministries. And through this G.O.D.S Place has already witnessed success stories. We are confident that when the full vision is manifested we will be in a position to help so many others who are in need.
Currently our funding has been from fundraisers, volunteers, churches and within our organization. As we progress our need for resources and funding will increase. We are currently investigating all options to increase our funding.

OUTREACH
God's Place has served individuals and families in need by providing food, information along with various other assistances. In 2011 God placed it on the heart of Gayle Young to serve an elegant dinner on Christmas Day. Inspired to give them the best she could on this special day. The dinners have expanded to not only dinner but an opportunity to get a haircut, manicure, massage, clothes and food boxes. This has been a successful annual event that Mrs. Young decided to host a Easter and Thanksgiving Dinner. Individuals and families who are in need of a little more Love are able to be pampered for a day. This pampering is guaranteed to come with a smile, a prayer and a word of encouragement.
